As a Product Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the product marketing team in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote and drive the success of our company’s products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to gain hands-on experience in the product marketing discipline. This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to the launch and promotion of new products while developing essential marketing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct research and gather market intelligence to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Analyze data and provide insights to support product positioning and messaging.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Collaborate with the product marketing team to develop compelling product positioning and messaging that effectively communicates the value proposition to target customers. Assist in the creation of marketing collateral such as sales presentations, product videos, and product documentation.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, including product offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns. Summarize findings and contribute insights to inform product marketing strategies.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating and optimizing marketing content, including blog posts, social media content, and website copy. Ensure consistent messaging across various channels and platforms.
  • Sales Enablement: Support the development of sales enablement materials, such as sales decks, battle cards, and product training resources. Collaborate with the sales team to address their needs and provide the necessary tools to effectively sell the product.
  • Product Launch Support: Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, including coordinating marketing activities, creating launch materials, and supporting go-to-market strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product launch.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Help track and analyze marketing metrics and campaign performance. Prepare reports and present findings to the product marketing team, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to gather input and ensure alignment on product marketing initiatives. Maintain clear and consistent communication to ensure everyone is informed and engaged.

  • Excellent research and analytical abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with market research tools and techniques is a plus.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for marketing and technology.
  • Previous marketing internship or related experience is a plus.
