We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nursing Intern

Location: Warri, Delta

Position Overview

  • As a Nurse Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and training in a wide range of clinical settings.
  • This internship is designed for nursing students or recent graduates who are dedicated to delivering compassionate patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and furthering their nursing knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses and medical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Perform basic nursing procedures under supervision, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Provide emotional support and ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in educational opportunities and training sessions to enhance nursing skills.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

The Person

  • Minimum academic qualification of a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc), and Must have been inducted
  • Must have 0-1 year experience
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
  • Possess high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Knowledge of Infection Control practice.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
  • A genuine passion for nursing and a desire to learn and grow as a healthcare professional.

Remuneration
Salary in line with industry standard.
